He is the Firm’s Managing Partner. He handles the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department. His practice focuses on litigation and arbitration of complex commercial disputes, including claims arising from insurance, capital investments, shareholder class actions and derivative cases, business torts and intellectual property. He has broad experience in litigation matters before the Court of Appeal of Tanzania, Commercial and Land Divisions of the High Court of Tanzania and at the Tax and Labour tribunals. He also has extensive experience in commercial arbitrations before various arbitration and mediation tribunals.

He is a Partner in the Firm. He practices general corporate law focusing primarily in the areas of banking, corporate finance, company formation and management, drafting of commercial contracts and litigation. He is responsible for preparation of pleadings and various other court documents and does most of the ground work on research and legal opinions rendered by the Firm in various practice areas.

Heads the Firm’s Corporate and Commercial Department. He focuses his practice in areas of company formation and management, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, public offerings, corporate take-overs, privatization, restructurings and dissolutions. He also has a niche in rendering legal advisory services in connection with mining and energy and he now advises Tanzanian and international clients in relation to the regulation of investment services, establishment of investment funds, listing of investment funds, offer and sale of investment instruments and investment products.
